the story of frankenmuth

Guest Blogger the Dictator reminisces about our second vacation this year to the land of buttered noodles, kiddie mohawks, and constant polka music:

The Dictator enjoys softserve at the
Bavarian Inn

one day my family went to frankenmuth.  we rode in the car for a long time.  the anarchist and i were tiered by the time we got to the hotel.  we watched tv then went to the pool.  i had a routine for the big pool.  first i went in the pool.  then i went under the blue and green sprayers.  then i pulled myself up.  and that's the routine.  after the pool we went to diner.  i ate macaroni and had vanilla ice cream for dessert.  and then we went to the toy store i got ned bracheosaurus with a train car ,and the anarchist got smurfette then bedtime.  the next morning we went down stairs for breakfast then we went home. i love frankenmuth.  the end.
The Dictator hated the fountain,
but feigned happiness for the photo.

How I Got Yama the Kung Zhu (by guest blogger: the Dictator)

Guest Blogger, the Dictator, continues her shopping-themed blog in this classic follow up to her original, "How I Got Tank the Triceratops."  She labored over this entry for a mere 47 minutes.  Enjoy:

it all started out wen we, or me and the anarchist,  were going to spend  our allowance.  we went to target.  we got the thing,s mom needed first.  then we went to the toy aisles.  i fond squinkies that i liked.  then mom saw kung zhus for only 2 bucks!  i saw yama  i really wanted her.*  then we went to the check out line.  i saw my teacher do you know what her name is?**  then we went home.  the end.

**If you don't, too bad.  The Dictator's lips are sealed, apparently.

Study in Black and White, by the Dictator.  From L-R:
Pinkie the Zhu Zhu, Rivet "River" the Kung Zhu, and
Tank the Triceratops.  Yama would eventually join the clan.

NOTE: While we dotingly believe that the Dictator is brilliant for five, we readily acknowledge that she's no prodigy.  Thusly, we would like to point out that the accuracy of the spelling in this blog is due only to the Dictator's insistence that we "make the red squiggly lines go away."  All grammatical and punctuation errors were left intact.

How I Got Tank the Triceratops (I take "dictation")

that blog was good.  did you
make a good pradikson?
The Dictator and the Anarchist watched an Arthur episode yesterday that was all about blogs.  The Dictator--already a prolific writer--was highly interested and asked if I could help her write a blog.  I thought we'd better start with a guest entry on this blog before she jumps into taking over the blogosphere.  She wanted to type the whole thing herself, but as you may be aware, I'm simply not patient enough for that.  So I took dictation.  The caption underneath the picture, however, was all her typing.  Enjoy.

I went to the mall.  And...I got a snack before going to get it.

Um, I got to go to the toy store and pick out a toy.  At first I couldn't pick which one.  Which one will you think I would choose?  Will you think I would choose Tank, Morris, or Ned?  I picked Tank the triceratops.  He's from Dinosaur Train.  His frill is big and it gets stuck in everything.  My mom paid for it with credit card debt.  And that's how I got Tank.
